Sophia Dominguez Perez

Graduate Student

Sophia is currently a third-year doctoral student. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015 and then worked for four years doing research with individuals with various neurodegenerative diseases before coming to UConn. Sophia’s interests include neuropsychological assessment, trauma and resilience, and disparities in neurological and mental health disorders. Her long-term career goals include improving and increasing access to culturally competent and trauma-informed neuropsychological assessment and mental health care.
