Ana Luisa Barbosa Dau

Ana Luisa B.T. Dau, M.S. is currently a fourth-year doctoral student. She received an undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and holds a Master of Science in Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology from the University College London. Before coming to UConn she worked for 5 years at the Yale Child Study Center as a research clinician co-developing and delivering interventions to high-risk families. Ana is particularly interested in early childhood development and emotion regulation, as well as in the impact of maternal mental health and trauma on attachment, parenting and early childhood development. Her long-term career goals include developing and delivering parent-child interventions to high-risk families.
