Adenique Lisse

Adenique Lisse, M.A. is a second-year doctoral student. Adenique was a master’s student at St. John’s University, and worked as a research assistant for the Child Mind Institute’s Healthy Brain Network prior to her start at UConn. She is interested in research focused on trauma, resilience, and sociocultural factors that impact family systems. Her career goals involve working within an academic medical center and within the VA advancing trauma research, with a particular focus on the ways that family emotion socialization in the context of childhood adversity impacts subsequent emotion regulation in adults.
